Mobile Phone Movie Competition

The theme of the competition is “Changing Minds; Women and Changing Perspectives”, about how women are changing minds about others, how others are changing minds about women and how women are changing minds about themselves.

Winners will receive cash prizes and a chance to screen their movie at a public exhibition later this year.

So whip out your mobile phones and start filming.

Changing Minds: Women’s Photography Exhibition

We would like to extend a warm invitation to all Sri Lankan amateur women photographers and photo enthusiasts to submit their creative work.

Those who have excellent photographs and/or who have not exhibited their work before are strongly encouraged to submit their work for consideration. Through an independent panel of selectors, the work of 10 women photographers will be chosen to be displayed.

Through this endeavor WMC will be providing the photographers space to display their creative skills to a wide audience, while offering them an opportunity to sell their photos during the exhibition.
